Eliza Burt Gamble was equal to men before it was legal. She challenged Charles Darwyn’s assertion that males were superior to females because the “fittest” among prehistoric males because they won the fights with other males to win the female and pass his genetics on to future generations.
Eliza wrote “The Evolution of Woman” which said that females were the superior sex since females were the ones that chose their mate. This is the brilliant part – women became the inferior sex through wife-capture, private property, and the establishment of marraige. She called this “unnatural selection.”
